Welcome to the home website of <Paradigm>, a raiding guild on the PVP realm of Blackrock. Paradigm was founded in the summer of 2010. We wanted to make a guild that would slowly grow into something great! Which is exactly what we have become! With a strong 10man raid group, we shall destroy all who stand in our path!

We strive to be a guild dedicated not only to progression in raids, but also to have a friendly and entertaining environment. We plan to head foward into cataclysm and retrieve the head of Deathwing himself! Our journey has proven to be a challenging one, but we shall see it to it's end! For no adventure worth having is simple, or easy to navigate.

Guild Roster

rules text box

*Please note we are a 10 man guild and that not all characters above are main characters.

Many are subs or past raiders that no longer raid with us but remain in the guild. The current raid roster is in the raid info section.

  1. Listen to the raid lead. You might have done the fight before, you might know the strategy - but if we're doing it in a way you haven't, just be quiet. However, if we wipe and we're having trouble, feel free to offer your suggestions. The point of this rule is so that we have a clear authority in our raids, so we can move through and get things done without a debate at each boss. If you break this rule three times in a night we'll simply kick you.

  2. Don't whine over loot. We are a guild, and a team, and an upgrade for your raid partner is (almost) as good as an upgrade for you in the larger picture. If you do have issues with how loot is being distributed, we encourage you to let us know - in whispers, not in vent or raid chat. There's not a need to create big drama for a small problem - if you're worried about loot, just ask nicely.

  3. Be considerate. We like to joke around about all sorts of things, but we don't take kindly when it starts going too far and seriously offending people. Be aware of the things you say - no racism, bigotry, or general mean-spirited remarks will be tolerated. We're here first to have fun, so go away if you're a douchebag.

  4. Know your job. We're not here to run you through the raid. You don't have to be the paragon of perfection, but we expect you to be trying very hard to get the strategy correct and do a great job. If you want to improve your DPS, just ask an officer or Google your class. The key thing here is that we want members who are willing to put in effort for reward - we don't want baddies.
